A Creative Christmas
65What to do...
Christmas will be here before you know it, bringing with it all the excitement, lights, decorations, and times with family and friends. Also with it comes the rush to get all of the presents bought so that everyone has everything they want for Christmas. You got that video game for Billy and the new cell phone for Mandy, but what about little Jack? You think and think and then realize that maybe little Jack needs a creative Christmas. One that is full of paper, crayons, glue, play-dough, and anything else that will make his imagination take over.
Legos
For awhile, Legos were starting to fade away, however within the last few years, the company has made a remarkable turn-around and Legos are once again a fast-seller and sure hit. Legos come in many different shapes and sizes. You can find kits to construct neat looking vehicles or houses with people and furniture. There are also bigger blocks for littler hands. You can go to the Legos website and create your own kit or you can purchase sets that are all ready set to put together. Legos give a child (or adult) the room to be creative so that they can create whatever comes to mind.

Play-doh
Who doesn't love play-doh? Children of all ages find it hard no to play with this mushy, modelable clay when it is around so it will make a great gift. There are so many options available when it comes to play-doh that really the only limit is how much money you want to spend. Like Legos, play-dough has many different kits that you can purchase so that the child in your life can make anything that his or her little heart desires. Play-doh can lead the way to hours of creative fun.

Creative Gift Baskets
Don't want to choose just one thing to give? Why not choose to create a creative gift basket. In this basket you can put markers, crayons, paper, glue, scissors, glitter, and any other little creative thing that you can think of. Instead of a basket, put all of the supplies in a plastic tote with a lid so that everything can be stored in one place and it can be taken on the go. You don't know it yet, but this gift may just lead to a new artist.

Creative Gift Sets
There are a number of different creative sets that you can buy that will get any child's imagination motivated. There are ones to make friendship bracelets, pottery, stained glass, or even tye- dye t-shirts. This choice is as simple as finding out what the child is interested in. If you don't know, then just choose one and you may have introduced them to a world that they never knew about. A lot of people don't even know that they are creative until they try something new out.
Creative Art Sets
Christmas doesn't have to be about getting the latest and most expensive gifts out there. It is about sharing time with friends and family and showing each other that you care. With a gift of creativity, you don't have to worry about the batteries dying or the toy breaking so it can't be used anymore. You give a gift that may very well last a life-time.
